7 FanDuel Bargains for Week 5
Owen Daniels ($4,900)
This one should come as no surprise, as the Oakland Raiders have been appalling against tight ends this season, giving up a league-high 26 fantasy points per game to the position. It has been a consistent inability to defend tight ends as well, not simply one bad week driving up the average. Their best week was against the Cleveland Browns and the likes of Gary Barnidge, when the Raiders held Browns tight ends to "only" 22 fantasy points.
I'm not sure I would fade any team's top tight end against the Raiders at this point, especially at a sub-$5,000 salary, and Owen Daniels has the added value of being in a solid offense.
Daniels has been Denver's most-used red zone weapon, seeing 27% of the targets. The Raiders have given up 1.5 touchdowns per game to tight ends, and Daniels should be able to find the end zone at least once. He has a ton of upside this week with the potential for a two-touchdown game.
