Theo Riddick, RB, Detroit Lions

Theo Riddick was a long shot to be a serious threat in the Detroit backfield. The front office and coaching staff seemed inexplicably attached to getting Joique Bell a huge workload. Ameer Abdullah was setting up to be the next big thing. Even Zach Zenner couldn't be taken lightly, given his on-field ability.

But Riddick might be the man for now.

He has played 52 and 42 snaps in Detroit's past two games, and he has seen at least 5 targets in his past 5 games, including two games with at least 10. He's third among running backs in Reception NEP, and Minnesota ranks 19th in Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP per play. If he gets the bulk of snaps, he can make things happen with his receiving alone.
