Michael Floyd started the 2015 season off extremely slowly, at least in part due to a gruesome hand injury the Cardinals wideout suffered in training camp that forced him to miss multiple weeks this preseason.
As a result of this, head coach Bruce Arians said he wanted to get Floyd "going" after the Cardinals' talented, but inconsistent wideout saw just seven targets over the team's first three games.
And just like Arians envisioned, things are beginning to fall into place for Floyd. With defenses focusing on Larry Fitzgerald and John Brown, Floyd has made good on the 20 targets coming his way over the past three games by pulling in a touchdown in each of these contests, including 4 receptions on 8 targets for 106 yards and a touchdown in Cleveland this week.
Those wary of adding Floyd given his status as the number three option in the Cardinals passing game shouldn't be worried. Indeed, as the third most efficient passing offense in the league coming into this week's game, Floyd's productivity alongside Fitzgerald and Brown over the last few weeks has demonstrated that there are plenty of opportunities for production in Arizona to go around.
