10 Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 9
Brandon LaFell, WR, New England Patriots
Since returning from injury two weeks ago, Brandon LaFell has been a disappointment to fantasy owners. LaFell has converted 15 targets from Tom Brady into only 6 catches for 72 yards.
LaFell will look to turn things around in a matchup against Washington's very middling secondary -- 18th in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play -- this week.
Despite his struggles, Brady has continued to look his way the past two weeks -- LaFell's 15 targets rank third on the team in that time-frame. As heavy home favorites, Brady should have a chance to continue to emphasize LaFell and attempt to reintegrate him into this offense.
With an implied team total of 32.5 points, LaFell has a good opportunity to find the end zone for the first time this season.
