7 FanDuel Bargains for Week 9
Larry Donnell ($5,100)
This one's a bit of a contrarian play, as it seems like a ton of people are on the other tight end in this matchup, Austin Seferian-Jenkins for $5,200, but assuming Larry Donnell plays this week (he's listed as questionable with a neck injury), he has a ton of upside.
The Buccaneers have struggled to defend the pass this year and rank 29th with a 0.25 Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play. A big part of this has been their inability to defend the pass in the red zone. They have given up a league-high 16 red zone passing touchdowns and have allowed touchdowns on a ridiculous 40% of their opponents' red zone drop backs. For context, the worst mark in the league last season was only 29% and the league average this season is 22%.
The Giants are fairly pass-heavy in the red zone, with a 1.45 red zone pass-run ratio that is higher than the 1.26 league average, and Donnell is second on the team in red zone targets. He has big time multi-touchdown upside this week.
