The 10 Best Wide Receivers From the 2015 NFL Season
4. DeAndre Hopkins, Houston Texans
Reception NEP: 143.89DeAndre Hopkins turned in a stellar campaign, including 111 catches, 1,521 yards, and 11 scores. All this while catching passes from Brian Hoyer, Ryan Mallett, T.J. Yates, and Brandon Weeden. Hopkins was the one consistent producer for a team that saw four different running backs receive significant touches and didn’t see another player top 50 catches on the year.
Interestingly, Hopkins was much more productive in the second half of games this year. While he tallied 47 catches for 616 yards and 4 touchdowns in first halves, his second halves (plus overtime) returned 65 catches for 913 yards, and 7 scores. His first half Reception NEP was only 59.13, while his second half Reception NEP was an excellent 81.11.
At age 24, Nuk will be entering his contract year in 2016.
