Fantasy Football 2016 Rookie Mock Draft: Round 1
1.08: C.J. Prosise, RB, Seattle Seahawks
Drafter Comments
"He will begin the season as the third-down back for Seattle, and he's been participating in wide receiver drills already, which could translate into him lining up as a receiver when Thomas Rawls is on the field as the primary running back. There's still a question mark about Rawls' health, and if he isn't ready to go by the start of the season, Prosise could begin the year at the top of the running back depth chart in Seattle." -- Barry Cohen
Other Comments
"Prosise is a very intriguing player who landed in one of the league's best rushing attacks. I think Rawls is the real deal -- among backs with at least 100 attempts, he ranked second in Rushing Net Expected Points per play last season -- but his health is a question mark. I don't see this as a reach, even though it probably qualifies as one based on current rookie average draft positions." -- Austan
"Probably one of my favorite rookie landing spots in the entire draft. Seattle's commitment to running back in both free agency and the draft tell me that the injury to Rawls may be fairly serious, and Prosise could have a shot to win the job outright if Rawls in on the shelf through preseason." -- Anthony
