Fantasy Football 2016 Rookie Mock Draft: Round 3
3.04: Mike Thomas, WR, Los Angeles Rams
Drafter Comments
"The 'other' Mike Thomas is one of my favorite value picks in this draft. It was unbelieve for him not to be invited to the combine, as his production and ball skills should have earned him an invitation. Going to the Rams, he has an open path to the WR1 job. Sixth-round NFL draft picks don't pan out very often, but I think Thomas is the exception and given his skillset, I'm willing to take the risk at this point in the draft." -- Brian Jester
Other Comments
"This is a really good pick because the Rams have very little talent at wide receiver. Brian Quick disappointed after his breakout 2014, and Kenny Britt isn't very durable. Tavon Austin is a player that you have to manufacture touches for, so Thomas is already one of the best talents at the position in LA. He can win in the short and intermediate game, but also has the speed and technique to stretch the field. He has great hands and wins at the catch point. He's a great fit for Goff's skillset." - Joseph Nammour
