Fantasy Football 2016 Rookie Mock Draft: Round 3
3.10: Daniel Braverman, WR, Chicago Bears
Drafter Comments
"Chicago Bears wide receiver Daniel Braverman will be limited to a slot receiver role because of his lack of size (5’10”, 177 pounds). However, Braverman’s elite short-area quickness and strong route-running ability allow him to create separation early in his breaks on short and intermediate routes. As long as he can continue to be a reliable pass-catcher over the middle of the defense, Braverman should have a significant workload early in his career with the potential to become a starter. Look for Braverman to split snaps with Eddie Royal from within the slot, but don’t be surprised if Braverman wins that competition outright." -- Austin Gayle
Other Comments
"Good pick -- I was debating between Braverman and Payton here. I think Braverman has a pretty clear role right away, but I went with the lofty potential of Payton instead. Chicago's depth chart was depleted last year due to injuries and there aren't many players to push Braverman for snaps in the slot other than Eddie Royal." -- Joseph Nammour
"Chicago has a need for an inside, slot-type receiver, and that's exactly what they got in Braverman. He was incredibly productive this past season (109 catches), and I was really impressed with his performance against Ohio State. He has an uncanny ability to shake free from defenders, and his talents as a return man will help him provide value to the Bears." -- Austan Kas
