The 10 Worst Quarterback Seasons Over the Last Decade
7. Sam Bradford, 2011
After winning the Heisman trophy in 2008 - just the second sophomore to ever do so - labeling Sam Bradford's five-year NFL career a disappointment would be a fair assesment.
In 2011, Bradford started 10 games for the Rams, completing 53.5 percent of his passes. The team went 1-9 during that span. He was also sacked 36 times in those 10 games. And while Bradford has never been known as a capable runner, he posted a -21.71 Rushing NEP on just 18 carries, the worst mark by a quarterback in the last decade.
Even though it appears Bradford will be the starting quarterback for the Eagles in 2016, the team invested major draft capital into rookie Carson Wentz, making it unclear what the future holds for Bradford.
Perhaps a new coaching staff can aid Bradford towards finally reaching his assumed potential coming out of college, but failing to finish above league-average in terms of Passing NEP in every single season since entering the league and demanding trades in the off-season does not help his case.
