7. Tyler Eifert - After injuring himself during the Pro Bowl last season, Tyler Eifert may be on the sideline to start the year. Between injury concerns and natural touchdown regression coming -- Eifert led the position with 13 scores last year -- Eifert could be an early season disappointment. However, there's a sizable target share to capture in Cincinnati following the departure of Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu, leaving Eifert as an interesting mid-round gamble in drafts this year.
8. Travis Kelce - Kelce saw 21.8% of the team's targets last year, third-highest rate among all tight ends. Unfortunately, he plays on one of the slowest offenses, and one not very conducive to volume. The Chiefs ran just 61.1 plays per game while passing 54.1% of the time -- both figures being sixth-lowest in the league which puts a limit on his ceiling.
9. Coby Fleener - New Orleans' tight ends have finished first or second on the team in targets over the past five seasons. For a team that has thrown the ball 660-plus times during that time span, that's quite a lot of targets directed to the tight end position. Fleener may have hit the free agency jackpot landing in New Orleans where their tight ends have flourished in production, efficiency, and fantasy points.
10. Jason Witten - The NFL's Ironman, Witten led all tight ends in snap percentage (99.2%) last season and hasn't missed a game since 2003. That was also the last time he did not finish inside the top-12 among tight ends. Witten saw 19.7% of the Cowboy's targets last season, sixth-highest at the position.
11. Jimmy Graham - The Seahawks transitioned their offensive identity following their bye week last season, turning into a highly efficient passing attack. Jimmy Graham saw a stark change in usage and production from his days in New Orleans prior to his season-ending injury midway through the year. A ruptured patellar tendon is a devastating injury to come back from, placing a large red flag on Graham returning in 2016.
12. Zach Ertz - Over the final four games of the season, only Antonio Brown saw more targets than the 39 sent in Zach Ertz's direction. Ertz has inconsistency and poor touchdown history question marks, but he could be the focal point of Doug Pederson's offense, who's tight ends have combined for 32.3% of the passing touchdowns while he was in Kansas City.
