3 FanDuel Kickers to Target in Week 15

Bad weather makes rostering some kickers risky this week, but there are plenty who are playing in a great environment.

In fantasy football, every point counts, and points are the only way you can win.

You need to maximize output from each and every player on your roster, and "punting" a position is never truly ideal. Sometimes in season-long leagues, you simply are stuck without any better options than who is on your roster already, but in daily fantasy football, where you are in control of every player you pick, there are no excuses.

So when you're making your lineups on FanDuel, don't leave kicker for last and choose whichever minimum-salary player fits in.

Move the position higher up on your priority list and learn to love the kicker. Start by targeting these three guys in Week 15.

Matt Bryant, Atlanta Falcons

FanDuel Price: $5,100

Matt Bryant and the Atlanta Falcons host the San Francisco 49ers, meaning they get to avoid any weather concerns. That's just one of the many positives for him this week. Atlanta is a 14-point favorite and has an implied team total of 32.75 points. That should lead to plenty of scoring chances for Bryant, including field goals late in the game with his team in the lead.

There really isn't much more that needs to be said, though the best offense in football, by our metrics, will be absent Julio Jones. That could let some drives stall out and lead to even more chances for Bryant in Week 15 against such a weak defense.

Nick Novak, Houston Texans

FanDuel Price: $4,700

The Houston Texans have an implied total of just 22.25 points but are 5-point favorites over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The game is being played in Houston, so they too will avoid any weather issues on a pretty gnarly slate.

Our algorithm sees Houston winning this game roughly 73% of the time, so that's good news for Nick Novak's scoring chances. The implied total isn't quite what you want, but field goals should be enough for Houston to earn the win in Week 15.

Kai Forbath, Minnesota Vikings

FanDuel Price: $4,500

Kai Forbath is looking like the best minimum-salary option this week, as his Minnesota Vikings host the Indianapolis Colts as 4-point favorites with an implied total of 25 and a win probability of 61.3%.

Forbath has netted 16 and 10 FanDuel points in his past two weeks, and his offense is good enough to move the ball (19th by our metrics) but not so good as to limit his chances to just extra points against the 30th-ranked defense in football.
