NFL Betting Guide: Week 1

The Bengals and Colts meet in what could be a lower-scoring game than the oddsmakers think. What are our models' top bets for this weekend's games?

Each year, we think we have certain teams figured out and then the complete opposite happens. No one predicted the rise of the Los Angeles Rams and the Jacksonville Jaguars at this time last year. This is another reason why I really enjoy Week One for betting. I try to fade the public because you rarely want to be on the same side as them. The public tends to take last year's results as gospel and will bet on those teams.

Keeping that in mind, I have come up with three bets worth targeting. Using our models as a guide, let's take a look at the best bets for this weekend.
