The Addiction: Daily Fantasy Wild Card Weekend

The season might be over but there's plenty of fantasy action to be had. One of our favorite destinations are the Daily Fantasy games, which combine the fun of fantasy with the immediate gratification of drafting a new team every week. Don't you wish you could have had that in your regular fantasy league? You wouldn't have been saddled with picking MJD in the 1st round!
Our recommendations have been straight up killing it the past few weeks - we've finished in the top 9% percentile in each of past three weeks with our picks. That's a WHOLE LOT of head to head victories! Whether you're a serious Daily gamer or just getting started, we'll definitely be able to augment your lineup and guide you to a head-to-head or pool victory!
This Week's Lineup
One of the great things about being the CEO of a company like numberFire is that I've got a trove containing 35,000 lines of code to help me in situations like this. You do as well! Here is our algorithmically generated optimal roster.
- QB: Joe Flacco - $11000
- QB: Russell Wilson - $12000
- RB: Ray Rice - $14000
- RB: Marshawn Lynch - $13500
- WR: Reggie Wayne - $12500
- WR: Andrew Hawkins - $6500
- TE: Owen Daniels - $8500
- FLEX: Alfred Morris - $12000
- FLEX: Vick Ballard - $10000
The last few weeks, we've rolled with a few sleepers such as T.J. Graham, and this week is no exception, as Andrew Hawkins of the Bengals makes an appearance. He's some great value of his price though - we're projecting him at 4.63 receptions for 52.44 yards and since StarStreet is PPR-friendly, he's a fantastic budget play.
We're also banking on Joe Flacco to perform well against the No. 30 Colts defense in the friendly confines of M&T Bank Stadium, while also relying on an array of PPR-friendly RB studs to shoulder a lot of the load. Vick Ballard in particular is a great play, projecting at 3.52 receptions along with 100 total yards against what is largely an overrated Ravens D.
