3 Fantasy Football Quarterback Streamer Options for Week 11

Quarterback streaming isn't for everyone, but if you're in a standard league -- like a 10- or 12-team league that features just one starting signal caller -- grabbing potentially productive quarterbacks in good matchups off the waiver wire is often doable.

Sure, you won't have the luxury of setting it and forgetting it with Patrick Mahomes as your quarterback, but when the top-end signal-callers draw a tough matchup, their upside can oftentimes be matched by a waiver-wire option in a more favorable situation.

If you're looking for some quarterback options from the waiver wire -- regardless of league size -- we have you covered. Here are three quarterbacks rostered in fewer than roughly 40% of Yahoo leagues who are in good spots this week.

Marcus Mariota, Falcons

Yahoo Roster Percentage: 33%

Marcus Mariota is at home versus the Chicago Bears this week, and the Bears are a perfect team to pick on in fantasy.

Chicago's defense has stunk most of the year, and now that Justin Fields and the Bears' offense is on fire, it's making Chicago games ideal fantasy environments. There have been 61, 67 and 78 total points scored in the Bears' past three games. Yes, please.

Mariota is the QB11 for the year, and his legs help compensate for the Atlanta Falcons' lack of pass-game volume. Mariota has run for at least 24 yards in six straight outings, and he's averaging 15.5 fantasy points per game for the season.

In a game with a 50.5-point total and 3.0-point spread, Mariota checks a lot of boxes this week. He's our QB6 for Week 11, and he's the no-doubt best streaming option.

Daniel Jones, Giants

Yahoo Roster Percentage: 63%

Daniel Jones and Russell Wilson (67% rostered) are both over the rostership cutoff for this piece, but they're available in enough leagues that I thought it was worthwhile to mention them. They each have a really nice matchup -- Jones versus the Detroit Lions and Wilson against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Let's focus on Jones.

The Lions' defense continues to struggle. We have them ranked as the league's worst overall defense, and they are surrendering the most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks (23.0). Matchups don't get much better than this.

Jones' fantasy outlook gets a boost from his running ability. He's rushed for 387 yards this season and has three games in which he's run for at least 68 yards.

We project Jones for 17.24 points and slot him as the week's QB9.

Davis Mills, Texans

Yahoo Roster Percentage: 7%

Davis Mills gets a home matchup with a Washington Commanders team that's on a short week.

Mills has topped out at a single-game high of 18.08 fantasy points this season, and he's recorded single-digit points in four of nine games. In short, he's an unexciting option. But I think he can come through in this spot.

Washington has conceded the 12th-most fantasy points per game to signal-callers (17.6). They're also a pass-funnel D. We rank the Commanders as the league's top run defense, but they're just middle of the pack against the pass.

Mills is the QB19 for this week, per our model. While I'd rather use any of the above options, Mills profiles as a quality QB2 and could be a serviceable QB1 if you're in a pinch in deeper leagues.
