Saints' Ted Ginn (knee) reportedly placed on injured reserve
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Ted Ginn (knee) has been placed on injured reserve, reports Field Yates of ESPN.
Ginn injured his knee in Week 4. There's a chance he could return after sitting out the minimum eight weeks. Third-round rookie Tre'Quan Smith (3 targets, 3 catches, 111 yards, 2 touchdowns in Week 5) will be the primary beneficiary and Cameron Meredith could also see an uptick in targets.
Ginn Jr. averaged 8.5 FanDuel points in four games, with 12 receptions (22 targets) for 135 yards and 2 touchdowns.
