Report: Washington acquires Case Keenum from Denver for pick swap
The Washington Redskins acquired quarterback Case Keenum and a 2020 seventh-round pick from the Denver Broncos in exchange for a 2020 sixth-round pick, according to multiple reports.
Keenum is the likely favorite over Colt McCoy for the starting gig in Washington following a woeful year in Denver. Alex Smith (leg) isn't expected to play in 2019.
Keenum threw for 3,890 yards (6.6 yards per attempt) on a 62.3 completion percentage with 18 touchdowns and 15 interceptions in 16 games for the Broncos last season.
