Jets' Jamison Crowder could 'creep near' 100 receptions
New York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder could "creep near or past 100 catches this season", writes The Athletic's Connor Hughes.
Crowder, who signed a 3-year, $28.5-million deal with the Jets this offseason, caught a pair of passes and scored a touchdown on the team's opening drive in their preseason opener. He should see plenty of work in the slot, a position that led new head coach Adam Gase's offenses in targets, catches, and receiving yards in all three of his seasons with the Miami Dolphins. Crowder turned 26 in June.
numberFire's models expect Crowder to record 53.3 catches on 98.5 targets for 633.2 yards and 3.23 touchdowns this season. He's the WR59 in our preseason fantasy rankings.
