Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott expected to be limited to 20-25 reps in Week 1
Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott will play 20-25 "reps" in Week 1 versus the New York Giants, per Jane Slater of NFL Network.
The assumption is that "reps" mean snaps and not touches for Elliott as he has been away from the Cowboys all summer and is expected to be eased into action. Tony Pollard will see the most work behind Zeke with fullback Jamize Olawale playing on third downs, as he is the best blitz pickup back for Dallas.
numberFire's models currently project Elliott for 89.9 rushing yards, 19.1 receiving yards, and 0.9 touchdowns for 17.3 FanDuel points on Sunday.
