Colts' Eric Ebron (ankle) headed for injured reserve
Indianapolis Colts tight end Eric Ebron (ankle) will be placed on injured reserve, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
What It Means:
He reportedly needs procedures on both of his akes. Jack Doyle will now slot into the starting tight end role, and Mo Alie-Cox will presumably see more playing time.
Ebron finished the year with 31 catches, 375 yards and 3 touchdowns.
