Rams' Darrell Henderson (ankle) expects to be ready for training camp
Los Angeles Rams running back Darrell Henderson is expected to be ready to go when training camp opens, according to The Associated Press' Greg Beacham.
Henderson has been rehabbing at the Rams' complex and has stated that his ankle rehab is "going well" and that he is all the way back from his surgery. A third-round selection a year ago, Henderson only played 93 offensive snaps for the Rams last season, totaling 39 attempts for 147 yards (3.8 per attempt) and 4 receptions on 5 targets for 37 yards (9.5 per reception). He will compete with Malcolm Brown and Cam Akers, the Rams' second-round selection in April's NFL draft, for carries in the Los Angeles backfield this season.
numberFire's models project Henderson for 438.4 rushing yards, 13.5 receptions (18.5 targets), 106.5 receiving yards, and 3.9 touchdowns in 2020. He's the RB48 in our preseason fantasy rankings.
