Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott suffered an ankle injury during the third quarter of Week 5's game against the New York Giants and had to be carted off the field.
Prescott suffered what appeared to be a broken ankle during the third quarter of Week 5's game against the Giants. Prescott was attended to on the field for some time before limping onto the cart. Andy Dalton entered the game and will likely be the Cowboys quarterback moving forward. Expect more details on Prescott's injury to become available in the coming days, he was taken to a hospital for evaluation, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Prescott will finish Week 5 with 14 completions on 21 attempts for 166 yards, 0 touchdowns, and 1 interception, with 2 carries for 7 yards and an 11-yard touchdown reception.
