Panthers' Christian McCaffrey (ankle) likely to miss another game
Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey isn't expected to play Sunday in the team's Week 6 game against the Chicago Bears, according to Steve Reed of the Associated Press.
McCaffrey is eligible to come off injured reserve this week, as he's missed the minimum three games required for a stint. However, the original timetable for his sprained ankle was 4-6 weeks, and the team is handling matters just fine with Mike Davis leading the charge in the backfield. While it's certainly possible that McCaffrey can return, expect him to be sidelined at least one more game.
Our models currently project McCaffrey for 806.04 rushing yards, 7.10 touchdowns, 62.40 catches, 492.74 receiving yards and 2.71 touchdowns.
