Browns plan to keep Josh Gordon
Cleveland Browns wideout Josh Gordon is expected to remain with the Browns once he's reinstated from his yearlong suspension, ESPN Cleveland's Tony Grossi reports.
Gordon's reinstatement announcement could come at any moment after he applied for it last month. By all accounts, Gordon has kept himself out of trouble in his time away.
Gordon's Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) total of 138.64 from his superb 2013 season ranks as the 24th best season since 2000 in terms of Reception NEP. Gordon is set to turn 25 years-old in April, so there's still plenty of time for him to resurrect what was a promising career. Time will tell what kind of football shape he's in, but if he has a good offseason (and preseason), his stock will rise prior to 2016 drafts.
