Football Team's Alex Smith (calf) cleared to play in Week 17
Washington Football Team quarterback Alex Smith (calf) has been cleared to play in the teams' Week 17 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Football Team is just one win away from clinching the NFC East, despite their losing record, and Smith has now been cleared by the team's medical staff to play in the critical matchup. The Eagles will be resting a handful of their best players, meaning Smith could even be in for his strongest fantasy finish of the season.
While a personal-best fantasy finish is in the cards for Smith in Week 17, his ceiling is still quite low for fantasy purposes. Our models project him for just 15.6 fantasy points, while FanDuel has set his salary at $6,700.
