McCarthy: Cowboys' Michael Gallup has been 'moved around some and in the slot' this offseason
According to head coach Mike McCarthy, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup has seen repetitions at multiple positions this offseason.
Gallup's usage could see a change in 2021 after the Cowboys' receiver played 93.7% of his snaps last season on the outside. Expect the 25-year old to see an uptick in receptions if he is utilized less on vertical routes and more as a versatile option. On 98 targets in 2020, Gallup recorded a 60.2% reception percentage and 1.34 yards per route run.
For this upcoming season, numberFire's models currently project Gallup to haul in 64.7 receptions for 949.7 yards and 5.0 touchdowns on 113.0 targets.
