Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott (knee) expected to play in Week 5
Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott (knee) is expected to play in the team's Week 5 game against the New York Giants.
Elliott came into this week's practices with knee "stiffness" that seemed concerning early on, but reportedly got progressively better as the week wore on. Zeke himself was optimistic all week about his availability for Sunday and is on track to play against the Giants.
Elliott is coming off his best rushing performance since Week 10 of the 2018 season, posting 143 rushing yards on 20 attempts and notching 1 touchdown. He has a solid matchup this week with a Giants defense that hasn't been shutting down the run. Our models project him for 16.8 fantasy points (RB4 for the week), while FanDuel has set his salary at $8,000.
