Chiefs place Clyde Edwards-Helaire (knee) on IR
The Kansas City Chiefs placed running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire on injured reserve with a knee injury.
Edwards-Helaire will miss a minimum of three games. Darrel Williams is expected to take over as the Chiefs' lead back after he out-snapped Jerick McKinnon 37-27 in Sunday night's loss to the Buffalo Bills. He also out-targeted McKinnon 5-2 and finished with 45 yards on eight combined touches. The Chiefs will take on the Washington Football Team in Week 6, followed by matchups with the Tennessee Titans and New York Giants.
