Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger (COVID-19) will play in Week 11 versus Chargers
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has cleared the league's COVID protocols and will start in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Roethlisberger hasn't been great so far in 2021, but the team certainly missed him in Week 10's tie against the Detroit Lions, in which game they were forced to start backup quarterback Mason Rudolph. Rudolph proved incapable of sustaining drives against the Lions' weak pass defense, so Roethlisberger's return is a huge upgrade for the offense relative to Week 10.
Roethlisberger will have to face off against the Chargers' strong passing defense, which is allowing the sixth-fewest fantasy points to opposing signal callers (16.0 per game). He has a $6,600 salary on FanDuel for Week 11 and is projected in our models for 14.8 fantasy points.
