Texans' David Johnson (illness, thigh) not expected to play in Week 13
Houston Texans running back David Johnson (illness, thigh) is not expected to play in Week 13's game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Johnson is dealing with an illness and a thigh injury and after failing to practice at all during the week, is not expected to be available to face the Colts. Red Burkhead would likely see an increase in touches if Johnson is sidelined. Assuming Johnson is out, our models expect Burkhead to handle 12.6 carries and 1.8 receptions against the Colts.
Burkhead's Week 13 projection includes 50.9 rushing yards, 14.8 receiving yards, 0.45 touchdowns, and 10.1 FanDuel points. His salary is $5,300.
