Bengals plan on Joe Mixon (illness) playing Sunday
Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon (illness) is expected to play Week 14 against the San Francisco 49ers, per head coach Zac Taylor.
Geoff Hobson of the Bengals official website said Mixon (illness) is "looking more and more like a game-time decision," but Taylor sounds more optimistic. Samaje Perine will start and handle most of the Bengals' carries if Mixon winds up not playing on Sunday.
Mixon is the RB5 in numberFire's Week 14 fantasy rankings and our models project him for 15.8 FanDuel points. Mixon ranks 11th in the NFL among running backs with 28 red zone carries and he has converted 10 of those attempts into touchdowns.
