Browns' Austin Hooper lands on COVID-19 list
The Cleveland Browns placed tight end Austin Hooper on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Hooper is joining fellow tight ends David Njoku and Harrison Bryant, and the Browns also placed Jarvis Landry and six other players on the COVID-19 list Tuesday. That currently leaves Cleveland without all three of their tight ends, both starting tackles and starting guards, and the team's leader in receptions. To make things worse, the Browns are playing on Saturday in Week 15 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
numberFire's models currently project Hooper for 5.3 targets in Week 15 and he is the TE13 in our weekly fantasy rankings. The Raiders are allowing the second-most FanDuel points per game to the tight end position this season.
