Najee Harris had foot injury at Steelers camp
Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris told reporters that he had a sprained Lisfranc in training camp.
Harris volunteered this information after making his preseason debut on Sunday, so there isn't any concern about his status for Week 1 against the Cincinnati Bengals. He rushed four times for 10 yards and caught all three of his targets for 11 yards while struggling to find space behind the Steelers' offensive line. The Steelers are reportedly "looking to lighten" Harris' workload this season after he racked up 381 touches as a rookie, but he is still locked into a three-down role and should see an enormous amount of volume.
Harris is the RB7 in numberFire's preseason rankings and the RB9 in the Week 1 rankings. Our models project him for 309.4 carries for 1,292.1 yards and 9.28 touchdowns, with 59.9 receptions (79.1 targets) for 386.7 yards and 2.54 touchdowns.
