Broncos' Albert Okwuegbunam a healthy scratch for Week 7
The Denver Broncos listed tight end Albert Okwuegbunam as a healthy scratch for Monday night's Week 6 game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Broncos have not shown much interest in getting Okwuegbunam on the field so far this season, and will now leave him on the sidelines in Week 6 as rookie tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring) makes his pro debut.
Okwuegbunam has flashed NFL athleticism in his limited opportunities, but has seemingly not done enough to earn consistent playing time under head coach Nathaniel Hackett. He played just a single snap in Week 4 before seeing a bump up to 21% of the snaps in Week 5, but will be a healthy inactive tonight against the Chargers.
