Colts' Jonathan Taylor (ankle) DNP on Wednesday
Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday ahead of Week 9's game against the New England Patriots.
Taylor was in and out of Week 8's game with an ankle injury he has been dealing with for weeks now and opened Week 9 with a missed practice on Wednesday. He reportedly tweaked the injury on Sunday and the Colts will "weigh his progress as the week progresses." His status for Sunday's clash with New England is uncertain. With Nyheim Hines now on the Buffalo Bills, Deon Jackson is the primary backup to Taylor. Zack Moss and Phillip Lindsay, who is on the practice squad, could also see some touches if Taylor is ruled out.
Taylor's current Week 9 projection includes 95.7 rushing yards, 21.1 receiving yards, 0.61 total touchdowns, and 16.4 FanDuel points. His salary is $6,800.
