Aaron Jones (ankle) reportedly expected to play Week 10 for Packers
Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones received negative X-ray results on his injured ankle, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Jones "should be able to play this week” against the Dallas Cowboys, according to Schefter's source. He left in the third quarter of Sunday's loss to the Detroit Lions and never returned. A.J. Dillon will be the Packers' lead running back if Jones suffers a setback and Kylin Hill will take over as the backup.
Jones played 30-of-74 snaps (40.5%) in Week 9 and scored 5.5 FanDuel points. He rushed 9 times for 25 yards and caught 2 passes (2 targets) for 20 yards. In Jones' eight healthy games this season, he handled half of the Packers' carries (12.2 per game) and ran a route on 47.0% of the dropbacks while playing 63.7% of the offensive snaps. Dillon averaged 10.9 carries with a 22.7% route participation and 46.4% snap rate in those contests.
