Marquise Brown (foot) has 'chance' to play Sunday for Cardinals
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown (foot) has a chance to play Week 11 against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, per head coach Kliff Kingsbury.
Brown was designated to return from injured reserve on Wednesday after being inactive the past four weeks. Kingsbury said the Cardinals will see how he moves around at practice before determining Brown's status. Rondale Moore and DeAndre Hopkins might see a downtick in targets once Brown is cleared, but the return should help the offense as a whole.
Brown averaged 10.7 targets per game on a team-high 26.0% target share before landing on injured reserve, but that was before Hopkins returned from a six-game suspension. The 49ers have the No. 9 pass defense in numberFire's adjusted team metrics and they also rank in the top-10 against the run.
