Denzel Mims (concussion) out for Jets in Week 16
The New York Jets have ruled out wide receiver Denzel Mims (concussion) for their Thursday night game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 16.
Mims took a hard hit while reeling in a contested catch in the first quarter of Sunday's loss to the Detroit Lions and was quickly entered into the league's concussion protocol. He had been seeing increased opportunities this season with injuries ahead of him on the depth chart, but will miss Week 16 as he recovers.
Veteran receiver Corey Davis is also in the concussion protocol, but has a chance to suit up against the Jags. If Davis is cleared to play, he'll vie for targets with Elijah Moore behind Garrett Wilson in Week 16.
