Dolphins' Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) ruled out for Wild Card
Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) has been ruled out for the Wild Card Round against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, per head coach Mike McDaniel.
Tagovailoa still hasn't been cleared for football activities and will remain out for a third straight game. McDaniel said the Dolphins are preparing for Skylar Thompson to start in Buffalo on Sunday. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle will be tough sells in the Wild Card Round with Thompson under center.
Over the last two weeks, Thompson completed 32 of 52 attempts for 256 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception. He averaged 4.44 adjusted yards per attempt and had an average depth of target of 6.1 yards. numberFire's models project Thompson for 13.4 FanDuel points versus the Bills and he has a $6,200 salary for the Wild Card Round.
