Bears acquire wide receiver D.J. Moore in trade involving 2023 first overall pick
The Chicago Bears have acquired wide receiver D.J. Moore in a deal with the Carolina Panthers.
What It Means:
Moore will head to Chicago in a massive trade involving Carolina's 2023 9th and 61st picks, a first rounder in 2024, and a 2025 second round selection for the 2023 first overall pick. Expect Moore to immediately lead Chicago's receiver group alongside Darnell Mooney and Chase Claypool.
On 109 targets last season, Moore ranked 32nd among wideouts with a 73.9 Pro Football Focus offensive rating while accounting for 63 receptions for 888 yards and 7 touchdowns and 1.74 yards per route run.
