D.K. Metcalf excited for Seahawks' "arsenal of weapons" on offense

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf expressed his excitement for the team's offense on Tuesday during an interview with NFL Network's Taylor Bisciotti.

What It Means:

Asked about the Seahawks' new additions this offseason, Metcalf said "He's (Jaxon Smith-Njigba) a great dude. And on the field, he's a great route runner, excellent hands. So, I think he's going to open the offense even more. Him and Zach Charbonnet is going to do, you know, amazing things at the running back position along with Ken Walker. We got a whole arsenal of weapons on offense". Seattle's offense, which surprised last season with Geno Smith under center, is well-positioned to be even better in 2023-24. Metcalf is expected to continue to play a huge role, after leading the team in targets last season.

Metcalf's 2023-24 season projection includes 141.43 targets, 89.64 receptions, 1,043.59 yards, and 8.21 touchdowns.
