Seahawks' Jaxon Smith-Njigba earning praise from D.K. Metcalf
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba received praise from fellow pass-catcher D.K. Metcalf on Tuesday.
Asked about Smith-Njigba on Tuesday while speaking to NFL Network's Taylor Bisciotti, Metcalf said "He's a great dude. And on the field, he's a great route runner, excellent hands. So, I think he's going to open the offense even more." Smith-Njigba's addition to the Seahawks' offense gives them one of the most explosive and exciting pass-catching trios in the NFL. Seattle scored the ninth-most points in the league last season, and are well-positioned to surpass that after adding Smith-Njigba in the first round of April's draft.
Smith-Njigba's 2023-24 season projection includes 109.68 targets, 71.38 receptions, 882.94 yards, and 5.25 touchdowns. He is the WR33 in numberFire's preseason fantasy projections.
