Speaking to Ashley Bastock of Cleveland.com on Tuesday, Watson said Amari's going to be good. He's a guy that's a vet, been in the league for a while, so he knows exactly what he needs to do to be ready for the season and training camp and our chemistry is going to be tight. We've been hanging out, we just going to continue to build that chemistry as much as possible." The connection between Watson and Cooper will be critical to the Browns' offense this season. Watson underwhelmed in his debut season for Cleveland and is looking to bounce back in 2023-24. The addition of wide receiver Elijah Moore will help, providing Watson with another weapon in the passing game.
Watson's 2023-24 season projection includes 3,917.66 passing yards, 22.09 passing touchdowns, 9.09 interceptions, 542.42 rushing yards, and 4.31 rushing touchdowns. He is the QB9 in numberFire's preseason fantasy projections.
