Browns' Amari Cooper earning praise from Deshaun Watson

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper has been building on last season's connection with quarterback Deshaun Watson.

What It Means:

Speaking to Ashley Bastock of Cleveland.com on Tuesday, Watson praised Cooper, saying "He's a guy that's a vet, been in the league for a while, so he knows exactly what he needs to do to be ready for the season and training camp and our chemistry is going to be tight." The duo continuing to build on their production from last season will be important for Cleveland. Elijah Moore adds another weapon to the Browns' passing game, but the cornerstone of their passing attack is expected to continue to be Watson to Cooper.

Cooper's 2023-24 season projection includes 124.96 targets, 81.03 receptions, 1,124.05 yards, and 7.17 touchdowns. He is the WR16 in numberFire's preseason fantasy projections.
