Kyler Murray believes Cardinals are "headed in the right direction"

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray believes the team is "headed in the right direction" following an offseason full of changes.

What It Means:

Murray, who is recovering from last year's season-ending knee injury, spoke on the Cardinals' Flight Plan Podcast about his injury and the changes the team made this offseason. Murray said, "I think winning cures all, and it's been tough to do that with some of the circumstances we've had to deal with, But I think we are headed in the right direction." Asked about his injury, Murray said "It's got to be a positive. There really is no option for it to be a negative. I feel you get your little grace period right after it happens, dwell on it, soak in it, let the feelings take over. After that, (expletive), we gotta go. Life doesn't stop. The job doesn't stop. And I'm not going to stop." Looking ahead to the 2023-24 season, there is still no official timeline for Murray's return. The Cardinals begin training camp on July 26th.

Murray's 2023-24 projection, which assumes three missed weeks to open the season, includes 3,399.49 passing yards, 15.33 passing touchdowns, 7.13 interceptions, 537.17 rushing yards, and 3.94 rushing touchdowns. He is the QB26 in numberFire's preseason fantasy projections.
