Jaguars' Travis Etienne embracing 'first healthy offseason'

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne has reportedly been using his "first healthy offseason" on "fine-tuning [his] skills."

What It Means:

Etienne's rookie season came during the pandemic-shortened offseason and was cut short by a foot injury that required rehabbing into the 2022 offseason, but the talented former first-round pick has been at full health this offseason. He emphasized the work he's done to limit his fumbles for the upcoming season after committing 5 in his first full NFL season. The Jaguars are on the ascent, and Etienne's playmaking has been a huge boon to their once-stagnant rushing attack.

Etienne should be a strong fantasy performer in 2023 and is currently ranked as numberFire's RB12 for fantasy football. Our projections have him carrying the ball 282 times for 1,284 yards and 10 scores, and have him catching 44 passes for 336.8 yards and 2 more touchdowns.
