Browns' Amari Cooper (minor tweak) 'should be back soon'

Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said Thursday that wide receiver Amari Cooper (minor tweak) "should be back soon" from the injury that has kept him off the field in early training camp practices.

What It Means:

Cooper hasn't done much work on the field yet for the Browns this offseason and is reportedly dealing with a "minor tweak" that the team does not believe to be anything serious. The former Cowboys and Raiders receiver will be expected to lead the way for Cleveland's receivers this year, operating as the WR1 alongside Donovan Peoples-Jones and Elijah Moore.

Cooper is numberFire's WR16 for the upcoming season and could be in for an even bigger year if quarterback Deshaun Watson returns to his pre-pandemic form. Even with a rusty Watson under center for a good chunk of the 2022 season Cooper still caught 78 balls for 1,160 yards and 9 scores in his first year as a Brown.
