49ers' Deebo Samuel 'in his best shape since his rookie season'
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel is reportedly "in his best shape since his rookie season."
Samuel was apparently hard at work in the gym this summer, and reportedly sent head coach Kyle Shanahan photographic updates of his progress. The uber-talented playmaker's 2022 season didn't quite live up to the bar he set in 2021, but his dynamic contributions still helped the team make a deep playoff run.
Samuel projects as numberFire's WR12 for the upcoming season. The 49ers' thin passing volume has historically made it hard for all of their impressive players to make impacts on a weekly basis, but Samuel's knack for hyper efficient plays through the air and on the ground make him a strong option in fantasy football.
