Chiefs expect Kadarius Toney (knee) to be available Week 1
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Kansas City Chiefs expect wide receiver Kadarius Toney to play in their Week 1 opener on Thursday night football.
Toney has barely been able to play since entering the league, suffering injury after injury. Once slated to perhaps operate as the Chiefs' top receiver, he suffered a knee injury days into training camp and has been sidelined since. The upside is evident each time Toney takes the field, but he simply won't be reliable enough for week to week usage in fantasy until he can find a way to stay healthy.
Toney should at least see gadget usage when healthy in the Chiefs' high-octane passing offense, which does help raise his floor. He is numberFire's WR50 for the upcoming season.
