Isiah Pacheco (shoulder) targeting Week 1 return for Chiefs
Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco (shoulder) is expected to suit up for the team's Week 1 game against the Detroit Lions.
What It Means:
Pacheco was more banged up than he let on during his rookie campaign, and has spent most of his second offseason rehabbing the numerous injuries he picked up over the Chiefs' Super Bowl run. He is currently recovering from shoulder surgery, but is expecting to suit up for Week 1.
Assuming he's cleared to play by the start of the season, Pacheco clocks in as numberFire's RB23 for the upcoming season. He doesn't see much work in the passing game (catching just 13 passes as a rookie), but should handle the majority of the Chiefs' rushing attempts for the bulk of the season.
